Brief Biography
Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia ( 2005-2009; CNPq scholarship). Completed the Master's ( 2010-2011; CNPq scholarship) and the Doctorate ( 2011-2015; CAPES scholarship) also from the Federal University of Uberlândia. Participated in an exchange and training program at the Polytechnic of Turin (Italy) in 2010 (1 month), whose theme was Sustainable Energies (Program “Young Miners Citizens of the World” – Edition Italy/2010, Government of the State of Minas Gerais ). Between 2014-2015 (9 months), he developed a PhD-Sandwich project (CAPES/PDSE fellow) at the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy in Potsdam (Germany), whose purpose was to apply a Lagrangian modeling (DEM) to predict the dynamic behavior of particles in rotating drums. Between 2020-2021 (1 year), he carried out a Post-Doctorate in Germany (Institute of Particle Technology, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg - FAU), whose project involved numerical simulations of particle dynamics in a fluidized bed mill with jets. opposites (Scholarship holder CAPES/HUMBOLDT). He is a Humboldtian member (ex-scholarship holder) of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany) and of the Humboldt Club of Brazil (https://www.humboldtbrasil.org/). He is currently an Adjunct Professor at UFG (Institute of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Course) since 2016 . The projects they have developed involve the study of fluid dynamics inside different industrial equipment, generally in multiphase (particulate) systems, through numerical computational simulations.
